William Bouygues graduated from the London School of Economics and Political Science. He began his career in 2011 with Bouygues Construction in the Bouygues Bâtiment Ile-de-France – Rénovation Privée teams, where he held the post of works supervisor before joining the sales teams. In 2016, he moved on to Bouygues Bâtiment International in the structure and development division.
After holding post at Bouygues Energies & Services, he was appointed property development director at Linkcity (Bouygues Construction’s property development subsidiary) in January 2019, before taking over as Executive Vice-President, Strategic Projects in the commercial property division at Bouygues Immobilier in 2021.
In February 2024, he was appointed Executive Vice-President, with responsibility for property development subsidiaries in France and internationally at Bouygues Immobilier before being appointed Vice President, Industries at Colas on 1 June 2025.
