Jean Manuel Soussan, holds a DEA pre-doctoral degree in labour law and a master’s degree in labour relations (1989). He started his career in 1989 as human resources manager at Spie Batignolles. He joined the Bouygues group in 1995 as department head, human resources for Bouygues Entreprises France-Europe (Bouygues Construction). In 1997, he was appointed Director of Human Resources at GTB Construction before joining Bouygues UK, where he became Head of Human Resources in 1999.
In 2006, he returned to Bouygues Construction head office to steer the development of its group-wide Human Resources department. On 1 August 2011, he was promoted to Executive Vice-President, Human Resources and Corporate Social Responsibility at Bouygues Construction. On 1 March 2020, he was appointed Senior Vice-President, Director of Human Resources for the Bouygues group.
