Bouygues is added to Vigeo's ASPI Eurozone®
index
On 6 September 2007, the ASPI Committee performed its
annual review of the ASPI Eurozone®
index, to which Bouygues was added.
The ASPI Eurozone® (Advanced
Sustainable Performance Indices) index is the benchmark European
index for companies and investors which have included sustainable
development in their business strategy.
Created by the Vigeo CSR rating agency, the ASPI Eurozone®
index selects the 120 best-rated companies in the euro zone on the
basis of Vigeo's CSR ratings.
Vigeo is the leading European CSR rating agency. It evaluates organisations'
CSR commitments, and identifies extra-financial risk and its level
of management.
Vigeo evaluates companies' CSR performance on the basis of six fields.
1. Human rights
2. Human resources
3. Environment
4. Business behaviour
5. Corporate governance
6. Community involvement
Each of these fields is assessed using several criteria, which are
broken down into action steps.
