Bouygues Construction sales rose by 20% (+11% in France and +33% abroad), with all businesses contributing to the sharp increase. Like-for-like and at constant exchange rates, sales grew 18%.

Bouygues Immobilier sales climbed by 61% because of the high level of reservations in the past two years. The commercial property business saw its sales increase threefold and residential property sales were up 27%.

Colas sales grew 14% due to a favourable environment in most of its markets. Like-for-like and at constant exchange rates, sales advanced 10%.

TF1 sales fell by 5% in an economic context unconducive to advertising investment and household consumption.

Bouygues Telecom sales gained 7%. Sales from network totalled 2,295 million euros, up 5.5% on the first half of 2007.

In the space of one year, Bouygues Telecom has acquired 522,000 new contract customers, an increase of 8.1%.

Bouygues Telecom thus continued to grow in a difficult competitive environment marked by widespread unlimited voice and SMS services. This performance offset the 8% cut in call termination rates which came into effect on 1 January 2008, as well as the reduction in roaming rates in 2007.

At 30 June 2008, Bouygues Telecom had 9,318,000 customers, including 6,959,000 contract customers (74.7% of its customer base, up 1.6 points year-on-year).
