Renovation

Thermal renovation is a market with high growth potential. In Europe, nearly 190 million homes¹ will need thermal renovation by 2050 in order to meet the energy-saving targets set by the European Union.

The Group has developed expertise in the field of building renovation (e.g. Bouygues Construction’s Réavenir offer and Bouygues Immobilier’s Rehagreen® offer). These solutions take account of a building’s specific architectural heritage and make them “passive”² without the need to decant occupants during the works.

The renovated Challenger building becomes a positive-energy head office complex

Challenger, Bouygues Construction's flagship head office complex in Guyancourt, west of Paris, was renovated, whilst it continued to be in operation, from 2010 to 2014, It is a positive-energy building thanks to a combination of high-performance insulation and solar, geothermal and air-source energies. Challenger also has filter gardens that naturally purify water. This high level of energy and ecological performance goes hand in hand with a high standard of working environment for employees: the building provides optimal olfactory, visual, acoustic and thermal comfort.

Lemnys Peri XV: Bouygues Immobilier is rehabilitating four office buildings in Issy-les-Moulineaux, south of Paris

Rehagreen® is a service package designed to help owners and investors enhance the value of their property assets over the long term. Bouygues Immobilier is rehabilitating four office buildings built in the 1990s, whose surface area and number of people able to be accommodated have been significantly increased. Innovative solutions have been implemented to improve the carbon footprint of the buildings by generating energy savings of more than €20 million over 30 years.
