Presentation

Bouygues implements a sustainable development policy as an integrated part of its strategy, focused on environmental, social and societal issues. The Group faces a twin challenge:  not only to make progress on all the Groupwide issues, such as energy efficiency, but also to advance and innovate on themes specific to each business area. Each subsidiary implements a policy tailored to its activities, by means of a roadmap with annual targets.

Construction

Sustainable construction, a factor of differentiation and growth for Bouygues Construction and Bouygues Immobilier, is a key marketing element for new buildings and the renovation of existing buildings. Colas devotes a substantial proportion of its R&D to making increasingly environment-friendly products.

Telecoms-Media

The Group's telecoms and media subsidiaries are also taking action to address the issues specific to their particular businesses. For example, Bouygues Telecom has set up a system for recycling mobile phone handsets, while TF1 has obtained the Afnor Diversity label. This label recognises the good practices implemented by the company in preventing discrimination, ensuring equal treatment and promoting diversity, on its TV programmes and in its human resources management.
