Biography - Sandrine Corbière
Sandrine Corbière studied musicology and worked as a music teacher for 12 years in secondary schools in the Orléans-Tours Academy. In 2002, she passed an exam to become head teaching staff in the French education system.
She was assigned to the post of Deputy Head at Les Renardières secondary school in Courbevoie (near Paris), before being appointed Head of Jean Jaurès secondary school at Levallois Perret (near Paris) in 2005. From 2007 to 2011, she was Head of Les Chenevreux secondary school in Nanterre (near Paris), and was subsequently Head of La Folie Saint James upper secondary school at Neuilly-sur-Seine (near Paris).
She is involved in training newly-qualified heads and has been a member of the academic training team since 2012. This year, she has three trainee heads to supervise. She is also in a training team tasked with introducing head teaching staff, who work and reflect on educational projects, to participative audits.
