Education and career

 

Colette Lewiner is a graduate of École Normale Supérieure and holds the prestigious rank of “agrégée” teacher in physics, as well as a PhD in science. She spent a large part of her career with EDF, where she was the first woman to be appointed Senior Vice President within the group, with responsibility for development and marketing strategy. She went on to lead Cogema’s engineering subsidiary SGN. In 1998, she joined Capgemini, where she now heads the Global Energy, Utilities and Chemicals sector.

 

In September 2010, in addition to her functions at Capgemini, Colette Lewiner was appointed non-executive chairwoman of TDF. She is an Officer of the Legion of Honour and a Commander of the National Order of Merit. 

 

Colette Lewiner is a member of the Bouygues Board of Directors.
