Education and career

Jean-François Guillemin, Ph.D. in Law, started his career as a lecturer of law of contract and tort and commercial law at Paris II University (Assas). He also headed the Centre Interprofessionnel de la Formation à la Fonction Personnel (CIFFOP) at the same time.

He joined the Bouygues group in February 1986 as senior manager of the Group legal department, which he went on to head in 1988.

In 1991, Jean-François Guillemin was appointed Group legal director. He has been handling the Group's major legal issues since then.

He has been Group Corporate Secretary since March 1998.
