To help: through a system of grants

The Francis Bouygues Foundation will allocate around 60 grants between €1,000 and €10,000 each per year until a higher education diploma has been obtained, to:

  • French Baccalaureate-holders (with A and B grades) from general and technical secondary schools and colleges
  • Foreign Baccalaureate-holders who have studied at French schools abroad
  • Baccalaureate-holders who have taken a short course and who would like to continue their studies.

To advise: the role of mentors

fondation_5.jpgfondation_2.jpgEach grant holder is mentored by a Group employee whose area of expertise is close to that of the student, and who lives in the same region. The mentor will support the grant holder throughout his or her university studies.

Mentors join the programme for a period of between two years and five years. Their role includes meeting their student at the beginning and end of each year, monitoring course marks on a quarterly basis and submitting an end-of-year report to the board of directors, which will then decide whether to extend or adjust the student’s grant.
