The Bouygues group has a dynamic internship policy. The types of internship are highly varied as are the profiles required, reflecting the diversity of the Group’s business areas. Bouygues recruits most of its young graduates through internships.
Internships last for between three and six months on average or may also be part of a work/study contract. Interns are paid in accordance with their level of qualification.
The qualities sought after and appreciated by the Group include commitment, involvement, motivation, and the ability to listen. Bouygues is keen to support its interns and to bring them an opportunity to discover the full wealth of its activities and strong corporate culture.
In 2014, the Group welcomed more than 4,151 interns overall.

Bouygues Construction, Bouygues Immobilier and Colas obtain the Happy Trainees label for 2015-2016!
The Bouygues group took part in the biggest European survey on the satisfaction of interns and people on work/study contracts. Bouygues Construction, Bouygues Immobilier and Colas all obtained the Happy Trainees label for 2015-2016. This is the third time that the Group’s subsidiaries have been awarded this label.
The subsidiaries obtained scores, given by students, of above 4/5, placing them in the Top 15 ranking of companies where students are the happiest. The Group stands out amongst the 1,000 companies assessed by this survey.
Students expressed their opinion on their daily experiences during their internships or work/study placements in the various subsidiaries. They assessed this experience according to six different criteria: career advancement, stimulating environment, management, motivation, pride and pleasure.
The results of this survey show that interns and people on work/study contracts greatly appreciated their experience and the reception received within the Group. The Bouygues group thanks all its employees for the support and help shown to all those on internships and work/study placements within the company.
