Bouygues Telecom, a provider of mobile, fixed, TV, internet and cloud services
A full-service communications operator, Bouygues Telecom accompanies its 15 million customers in their daily digital lives.
We love technology
Innovation first and foremost
Present on the market since 1996, Bouygues Telecom has set itself the objective of bringing the latest technological advances to the largest number of people.
The company has always stood out for its capacity for innovation, which has brought its customers the ever-increasing benefits of technology.
It invented the mobile call plan concept as early as 1996 and went on to offer its customers the first “unlimited plans”.
In 2011, once again, Bouygues Telecom was the first to invent SIM-only mobile plans with no minimum term commitment: B&YOU. Bouygues Telecom has also been at the forefront in the roll-out of networks based on the latest technological advances. On 1 October 2013, Bouygues Telecom opened the first nationwide 4G network, covering 63% of the population. With the aim of satisfying exponential growth in uses, which requires increasingly fast speeds, Bouygues Telecom was the first French operator to roll out, as early as June 2014, 4G+ services (speeds twice as fast as 4G) in France’s biggest towns and cities. At the end of 2015, it began to roll out Ultra High Speed Mobile (speeds of up to 300 Mbit/s) in Paris, Lyon and Chartres, and since then in several other large towns and cities.
At the beginning of 2015, Bouygues Telecom shook up the fixed market once again with the launch of Bbox Miami, the first TV box operating under Android, which combines traditional TV content with apps and content from the web within a unique and fluid interface.
The operator for everyone
With its “Customer First” positioning (#nosclientsdabord), Bouygues Telecom gives existing customers priority over prospective customers. That unique approach in a fast-moving sector helps to secure customer loyalty through exclusive special offers and bonus features. Bouygues Telecom also focuses on its major role in developing France’s infrastructure and reducing the digital divide. Through a vast network-sharing programme begun in 2014, Bouygues Telecom’s 4G network will cover 99% of the French population by the end of 2018.
Customer relations are central to Bouygues Telecom’s strategy. The 550 Club Bouygues Telecom stores are showcases for the latest cutting-edge technologies.
Hundreds of different types of career with a single aim: to get all customers to love technology
